Volvo
The world’s safest car company continues to be a leader in developing better ways to make its cars safer. With multiple safety features, like crash avoidance and electronic stability control, it’s no wonder Volvo Cars continue to be among the world’s top in safety.
The XC90 recently received the TOP SAFETY PICK awards for 2007 announced by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). This award recognizes vehicles that do the best job of protecting people in front, side, and rear crashes based on ratings in IIHS tests.
Volvo also debuted its newest concept, the XC60 in 2007 at the Detroit Auto Show and this concept really speaks to the future design of Volvo. This crossover utility vehicle combines Volvo’s safety features with a sporty and aggressive look. Look for this concept to become reality in the coming years.
